Well that was fun! Today all grade one students participated in the THE WORLD KIDS COLURING DAY on May 6th and there was nothing but fun and laughter for all. The teachers got themselves into a colourful mess whilst showering the kids in all the rainbow colours. The day was also about raising awareness about what SAVE THE CHILDREN does, teaching the kids that we’re lucky to live in such a lucky country. Lots of activities happened throughout the day to do with colouring and we’re sure this will become an annual event!
Hello to JGD and everyone else across Shepparton or even across the world who might be reading our blog!
On this blog we will be putting up news from our classroom. Please stay tuned and we would love for you to comment on our blog!
Wow, we are so lucky! Every class in the school has another class to buddy up with but we actually have two buddy classes. There is us (JGD-Grade 1’s) and MDH-Grade 3’s and SBP- Grade 5’s. Having three classes involved in buddies is going to be fantastic. We are planning to buddy reading every single week and every time our classes don’t have assembly we will also do an activity together. Here is a collage of our buddies on our first meeting of the year!
Today we are looking at Make Belief Comix. This is a great website that makes it easy to generate your own comic strip. This would have many uses in the classroom, you could easily incorporate a comic strip into a reading reflection or to highlight something about your day, week, or holidays.
Today to practice our comic making strips we are going to make a short comic strip that is related to our current affair topic for our projects. Enjoy

Once you are in their you must put a name. To help us identify who is typing we are going to use the code bsps-initial. So my initials are GD so I would use bsps-gd
